aopt's writing journal and general rant center. We specialise in crazy new universes, drama, suspense, and the occasional humour. Pants stay on (for the most part); heads come off. We see the Internet through newly-cleared lenses, and occasionally try to make sense of it. Sometimes, we even have a life.We write, we draw, we icon. We are picky and slightly elitist, though generally speaking not too cruel about it. We love constructive criticism and feedback of all sorts, and we love to inspire others in their own artistic pursuits. We start projects and never finish them - and on occasion, finish projects we never started. We are considered by some to possess great wisdom when it comes to advice, though we make no claim to such a trait.
We are not female, and constantly emphasise this.
We love clocks, and clockwork; suspense, and unnecessary turmoil in stories; semicolons; dysfunctional characters; science fiction and genre blurring; happy cats; good music; rainfall; fanfiction.
